A Class Action:  The Grassroots Struggle for School Desegregation in California
The first exhibition provides one answer to the question,
Who were the pioneers in the fight for
    educational equality?

A Class Action highlights a powerful story and significant legal event from Orange County, CA history—Mendez et al. v. Westminster et al., decided in 1947, that abolished separate “Mexican” schools and led to the integration of all California public schools.

Two Roads, One Journey: Education in China and the United States
The second exhibition provides one answer to the question,
    How does our educational system
compare with the systems in other
    countries?

Two Roads, One Journey explains the similarities and differences in Chinese and American education systems, presented through a day in the life of two fourth grade students, one Chinese and one American.

Brain Odyssey:
from Conception to Kindergarten

MOTAL’s sixth, and most recent, exhibition (in the planning stage) will provide one answer to the question,
     How do children learn?
A series of educational forums on the role of the brain in learning has been initiated. New partnerships are being developed to envision the instructional materials and interactive elements that will be installed inside a mobile vehicle for the Brain Odyssey: from Conception to Kindergarten.
