Volunteering for MOTAL

1/24/2025

Picture
The Museum of Teaching and Learning has always been an all-volunteer organization, fulfilling its mission with the work of capable people who gladly work for free.  With recent changes in MOTAL’s office/museum and expanded opportunities for its exhibitions, we have a much greater need for VOLUNTEERS.

Readers may recall that the recent development and travels of the 48-foot mobile, Your Baby’s Amazing Brain, was a huge leap. Its fifteen computerized, artistic, multiple-language, interactive, astounding stations have brought terrific evaluations and tremendous staffing responsibilities.

Now our charitable nonprofit is in the process of establishing its new headquarters/mini-museum in a nonprofit hub at the edge of downtown Fullerton, California. The new venue will bring forth the artifacts and documents that have been stored (and shown at events and by appointment) for many years. With new insurance fees, larger rent payments, and opening up to the public, times are exciting and MOTAL's needs are many.

Whenever MOTAL moves in new directions, interesting things happen. We meet great new people, form new partnerships, create new exhibitions, adapt new ways of doing things, reach new audiences, and adjust to new financial obligations and income streams. YOU can be a change agent in this new environment.

You do not have to be a resident of Southern California to help out. Take a look at the alphabetized list below and reply to this email if you would like more information.
