Dear MOTAL Friend,

As we rapidly approach the end of our fiscal year, we want to THANK YOU for your kindness and generosity. Without your continual support, MOTAL would not have been able to achieve these many 2024-2025 milestones. With your help, we’ll be able to inform and inspire people about education in a time when education is more important than ever.
  • MOTAL has now moved to its new, much roomier location at 247 E. Amerige in Fullerton.
  • Attendees had a lovely time at one of two successful ribbon-cutting ceremonies. Now visitors will be able to come enjoy our artifacts by appointment.
  • Your Baby’s Amazing Brain (YBAB), our beautiful new high-tech mobile exhibition, has received glowing evaluations from guests in a wide variety of host locations.
  • Supporters filled the seats as MOTAL celebrated its 20th anniversary at the Hunt Library in Fullerton.
  • Our exhibition, A Class Action, has traveled far and wide.
  • Assembly Bill 1805 has assured that its story about the groundbreaking Mendez et al. case is now part of the state’s curriculum.
  • MOTAL’s newest Doll Scholar has been writing and speaking about our artifacts as an enthusiastic spring intern.

As we dare to dream of a better and bolder future for MOTAL, we will be quite busy solicitating new board members, establishing collaborative partnerships, finding more exhibition locations, and organizing fun events to bring us together. To that end, we will be inviting you to join us on the following dates.

June 21st                     Day of Music
July - August                Online Art Auction
August                         Kickoff for New Podcast Filming
September                   WOW “How To” Events
October                       Celeb Salon Dinner and Speaker
November                   MOTAL’s Coming of Age Party
December                   Jane Austen Holiday Tea Party

We hope that you will continue with us on our journey to educate people about education. We invite you to join us as a SUSTAINING MEMBER or by RENEWING your ANNUAL
MEMBERSHIP.

OTHER WAYS TO GIVE
Some of our friends have been kind enough to include MOTAL in their retirement giving plans. Supporters allocate a monthly, quarterly, or annual amount and send it to the organization at a time of their choosing. Additionally, some of our members take advantage of their employer’s matching gift programs, where their company matches charitable donations or donates funds based on the number of volunteer hours completed.

Lastly, MOTAL is always in search of talented volunteers and in-kind donations. Please consider helping us in the following ways:

Volunteers
  • Attorneys
  • Docents
  • Event Planners
  • Graphic Designers
  • Social Media Gurus
  • Writers
In-Kind Donations
  • Event Space
  • Printing Services
  • Raffle & Silent Auction Items
  • Art Objects
  • Catering
Once again, we thank you for all that you do and hope that you consider MOTAL an investment worth making. Thank you for continuing to make MOTAL BETTER, BOLDER, BIGGER, BADDER!
