Nine Banners Tell a Great Story
Not everyone knows that MOTAL has produced several versions of its exhibition about Mendez et al. v. Westminster School District et al. Why? Because the exhibition travels to venues throughout the western United States and has only been in Orange County several times. The large version is about to open at Santiago Canyon College in Orange, CA.

But another version was created and launched to fit in the grand hallway outside the governor’s office at the California State Capitol. It is a hanging exhibition that tells the school desegregation story through nine large hanging banners. Each of the banners is 70" tall and 35 1/2" wide.

See photos of the A Class Action Hanging Banners in different venues
Exhibition at the Sacramento Capitol building (first two photos,) at the Kennedy Library (third photo,) and at Utah State University (fourth photo with Sylvia Mendez.)  Each venue had very different types of space to hang the banners so I think it will give you an idea of what you can do.

MOTAL also provides nine smaller, approximately 11 x 17, poster-like photos of the hanging exhibition. They allow guests to look at them more closely perhaps to read the print better.

The cost to lease the banner exhibit is $750 for one month and $150 for each additional month or fraction thereof. MOTAL pays shipping to the host institution, and the host pays shipping to the next venue or back to MOTAL, not to exceed the original shipping cost.
