The Old Orange County Courthouse Museum, operated by OC Parks, maintains permanent exhibits and hosts temporary exhibits relating to local and regional history. The museum also offers public programming and educational activities for school groups and other visitors from Orange County and beyond.

The Center for Oral and Public History (COPH) at California State University, Fullerton, collects the oral histories of individuals whose historical experiences have shaped southern California. COPH also undertakes public history projects that share oral histories with students, scholars, and public audiences. Students play key roles in all of COPH’s projects and receive the hands-on experience that helps prepare them for careers as historians, educators, and public history professionals.

Leatherby Libraries and the College of Educational Studies at Chapman University have taken the lead role in collecting documents, photographs, and other materials related to the Mendez et al. v. Westminster et al. lawsuit.

The Orange County Department of Education (OCDE) partners with Orange County school districts to provide more than 500,000 students with a world-class education. OCDE also partners with families, businesses, and community organizations to promote student success and well-being in Orange County.
