Junior docent scholarships $250 each
To support training and materials for high school juniors and other teens who will learn to teach and lead younger students
School bus scholarships $300–500 per each bus (varies with district)
To support transportation costs for field trips to exhibit (targeting fourth grade)
Scene fabrications $1,000 each
- 1940s home interior with artifacts and table
- 1940s classroom interior with desks, books, and tools
- Life-size reproductions of figures
- Photo enlargements and reproductions
Volunteer event underwriting $1,000
Blue Ribbon thank you party—food and beverages for 75 volunteers
Building materials $1,500
To support necessary exhibit structural items
Exhibit artist’s stipend $2,500
To support an emerging artist as he completes this significant project
Administration fees $1,000 a month for 15 months
To support necessities for organization and success in a time when costs have gone up but district funds have gone down
Traveling Trunks program $5,000 for each mini-exhibit to travel to schools
To fund an “Exhibit in a Suitcase” for those who can’t make it to the museum
On-site learning materials $2,500
So that visiting groups will have activities and puzzles to reinforce the teachings of the exhibit
Exhibit souvenir program $10,000
As with any fine exhibit, to provide a delightful, memorable touch
